The TECO IE2 Flameproof motor is a hazardous area-rated three-phase induction motor designed for safe operation in explosive gas environments (Zone 1 & Zone 2). It is built with Ex d (flameproof enclosure) or Ex de (flameproof + increased safety terminal box) construction and certified to IECEx and ATEX standards, making it suitable for oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, and industrial process applications where ignition risk must be controlled.
